Fortunately, the archives won't accept attachments.

As far as I know there isn't anything that can be done about
attachments sent to the subscription list.

It should be possible to ban ALL ATTACHMENTS and I'll send Dan an
email asking if he can do that.

A shame really, but I prefer that URLS be sent where possible or just
post the information and if people want to accept the attachment, then
send a private email to the person offering it.

That way, people are forced to receive attachment they aren't
interested in.

Dan, can you fix it so that attachments are not allowed? The
instructions show how to send files up to a central location which can
serve as a repository for anyone wanting to download them in future.
This is much cleaner and more courteous.
