Finally got the papers posted on the history of vapor carburetors and
the Gunnerman patent with comments.
The author, Richard Felix decided the combined information should no
longer be kept within a tight circle so has graciously provided the
documents with all the necessary notes to allow ANYONE to experiment
with the process.
Its not free energy but its a great start to helping to clean up the
environment if engines everywhere can be modified to run on this.
The principle is that you need a catalyst to 'crack' the water molecule
into its constituent parts of hydrogen and oxygen. Once the molecule is
cracked you can explode the gases for additional repulsion.
What I found so exciting was the two techniques described. One uses
nickel or another metal exposed to the fuel or the spark to help rupture
the water molecule, the other uses a surfactant that reduces the surface
tenstion of both the water and gasoline, allowing them to FREELY
MIX...now we know gasoline and water DON'T MIX...however using the
surfactant, it does.
Once they are mixed, the gasoline is exploded in the cylinder and the
water is cracked, then the hydrogen and oxygen gases are exploded for
additional thrust AND a very clean burn of any leftover petroleum
products. This results in a very clean burning engine with almost no
pollution.
It is very exciting. They ran a one cylinder engine that was driving a
generator to produce a continual 4000 watts of electrical power. That
engine was running with 70% water!!
Anyone can get a used one cylinder lawn mower engine and try this for
themselves. The applications are enormous. Not only running it in a
vehicle for significant fuel savings as well as helping to heal our
environment from noxious petrol based emissions, but also the
possibility of creating electricity for your house.
A small gasoline engine, 1 cylinder (lawnmower), 2 cylinder (motorcyle),
4, 6 or 8 cylinder (car engine), connected to a generator that feeds a
battery pack.
The battery pack provides consistent DC power to drive a series of
invertors, one each for each circuit breaker in your house (10-15 amps
providing from 1000 to 1500 watts per breaker).
A sensor monitors the battery voltage and turns on the engine when the
battery network needs charging.
The engine has attached to it 3 tanks, one for water, one for the fuel
(probably gasoline), and one for the surfactant. A lab pump meters in
the 30% gasoline and 70% water into a tank where it is mixed with the
surfactant to allow it to mix under the action of a stirrer.
The mixed fuel is fed to the engine and a small PIC type computer
adjusts the air/fuel mix to keep it stable.
The engine keeps the battery pack charged, the inverters provide the
power needed to run your house.
If your current electrical bill is $100 or higher, this could be a neat
opportunity to get off or minimize DRASTICALLY your GRID POWER NEEDS.
Besides the initial investment for the system, running it would require
fuel, water and the surfactant, plus maintenance. To my view, it's all
very exciting and worth testing out at least on a lawnmower.
