Hi Ivan et al!

I decided to post your email to the list because of the excellent URL
references you made. They were quite interesting and I did neglect to
mention the effects of alkaline water which is a very 'hot' topic now
for several years.

Had the opportunity to meet a fellow name John Thomas a few years ago
at a conference...he had written a very good book on the use of this
alkaline water with lot so supporting material.

He was about 52 but looked like he was 35 and attributed his look and
demeanor to the ingestion of alkaline water and supporting habits.

I don't recall the name of the book but we had a good rapport so I was
surprised that he sent a case of the books to give our to friends
which I did...everyone was impressed with the book and he was to
include that HCL document in his next printing as he too thought it an
excellent file and worthy of further research.

So Ivan thanks for the references, I should append that first URL to
the HCL paper since it is a very good description of how HCL is
produced and used in the body.

Dear Jerry,

I have been an avid reader of the 'archives' for some time, mostly the
information contained therein has gone 'whoosh' right over my head!

However, I found myself digesting the complete 'seawater cure' site
and I am determined to procure some seawater from the appropriate
depth to
experiment with.

And so, when I read your post and referenced file....

Along the same lines as this idea of establishing osmotic equilibrium,
there is a great file about using hydrochloric acid to re-establish
the pH in the blood.
The file is located at;

http://www.keelynet.com/biology/hcl.txt

the claim being that a healthy organism has a very specific
acid/alkali balance and that deviations from whatever that fixed pH
value is will produce a medium that promotes and encourages the growth
of different
types of disease and ailments.

It is one of the best papers I've ever seen and the only one using the
balanced pH approach.

.... I felt moved to point you to a commercial web site which, whilst
being pretty light weight, contains some well reasoned arguments for
the consumption of alkaline water:

http://www.alkalife.com/s&h_3.htm

They also have some info regarding FIR:

http://www.alkalife.com/s&h_4.htm

According to their patent: US5306511;

http://patent.womplex.ibm.com/patlist?icnt=US&patent_number=5306511&x=41&y=8

their Alkalife product is 4:1 parts respectively of Potassium
hydroxide and Sodium hydroxide mixed 1:9 in distilled water, a few
drops of which is added to a glass of tap water.

Easy enough to try...

Hope this is of interest. - Ivan Anderson
