Dough Ruby

Hi all,

I recall talking with Ruby two years ago. He sounded sincere and genuinely puzzled
by what he found, interpreting the crop glyphs the way he did. His book, lavishly
produced, explains his theories, which I can neither adhere to or reject. At that
time I considered his approach an original one, so much so that I included some of
his theories in my Dutch book on UFOs, in the inevitable chapter on crop circles
(although my point was that there is no historical pedigree, and the alleged
connection with the UFO phenomenon remains laregly unproven), which he allowed me
to, even sending me some of the pictures to include in my book (I used one I
think). As I said, at that time he came across as a friendly person.

So much concerning crop circles is totally muddled these days, and I ponder on the
possibility that most, if not all are man-made. (I also recall the comment from a
Dutch sceptic that even an ordinary bike, when spinned around an axis, would yield
remarkable pictures)

best regards,

Theo Paijmans
