What an interesting idea. I have a problem with the use of the word
isotonic from the first time I looked it up, but now at home, I looked
it up under;

http://www.dictionary.com

and found two definitions, the 2nd of which explains what is going on.
============================
isotonic \I`so*ton"ic\, a. [Iso- + tonic.] Having or indicating, equal
tones, or tension.

Isotonic system (Mus.), a system consisting of intervals, in which each
concord is alike tempered, and in which there are twelve equal
semitones.
==========================
isotonic adj 1: used of solutions; having the same or equal osmotic
pressure [syn: isosmotic] [ant:hypertonic, hypotonic] 2: relating to or
characterized by the equal intervals of the well-tempered scale;

"isotonic tuning" 3: (physiology) of two or more muscles; having equal
tension
==========================
So, we have a solution that is balanced using the salts in seawater so
that the osmotic pressure of the cells is balanced with the surrounding
seawater salt concentrations...sounds kind of like swimming in the Salt
Lake where you can't sink because of the salt concentration in the
water.

Saltwater doesn't freeze so maybe it could have cryogenic applications
though it must freeze at SOME point..

Hmm, so here we have a pressure balanced fluid medium for the blood and
other body fluids, does that somehow reduce the strain on the cell walls
to reduce the requirement for voltage that would be used to tension the
cell walls?

Acting in a cellular fashion kind of like a flotation tank where the
entire body relaxes in water that is highly doped with salt (the one I
tried had 600 pounds of salt dissolved in the tank and you couldn't
sink). Just lying there for 45 minutes you lose all electrical tension
to the muscles to a degree that when it comes time to get out, you
simply can't move.

No tingling as in a foot, leg or arm going to sleep, but your will
evokes no response in the body...finally, after a few minutes of
exertion of will, the body begins to once again respond....what is
interesting is you still sense hot, cold or pain, just that the member
won't move when so commanded.

That 2nd definition about having equal tensions is interesting also. We
must have difference of potential to produce action...without polarity
there is harmony and no tendency to be sensitized to mind flows or for
the energy levels or pressures to act like a stretched rubber band, not
content until it has once again achieved an equilibrium with its mate.

So, this balanced seawater/cell trick would basically put the body in
harmony and let its natural healing properties come into full play,
without the need for any outside antibiotics or influences.

I love it! Establish harmony...the scary part is you don't want to do
that elecrically, without electrical tension in the heart and other
internal parts of the body, you would die.
