hi folks, in a book on static motors by Podonov{is this right]? he spoke
of how ferrous or iron materials form the link or medium to trans fer
for magnetism, and movement of the iron or the conductors could transfer
or exchange power. using ac currents was similar to movement sorta. well
many of his designs for static devices relied on movement of the
insulator! consider a capacitor, two plates of metal or conductive
materials with insulator between, rubbing an insulating material perhaps
silk or wax or moving it across the conductor created static. isn't the
van de graf basicly a sheep skin pulley belt rubbing and moving between
the sphere and the base making the spark?
i heard that many fluids that are flamable, petrol, naptha and fuels etc
are insulators and when unloaded from trucks or tanks a chain or
grounding cable is used to prevent static buildup from nozzle to
recieving tank and possible spark explosion and the mess that could
cause. moving insulator ; curious... water when pure is good insulator
and air also...water vortex may be just moving insulator; swirling in a
circle but moving. how about hanging many square feet of metal screen
in the wind and it might get charged... an idea i had for a fountain:
water in upper pan filled by rain as it overflows creates charge, upper
pan is on insulator to keep charge and small spark gap is underneath
protected from rain [ in a nice cut crystal glass or whatnot] and it
sparks as rain overflows and cut glass makes sparks pretty.....
another 'topic-idea' i really want some feedback on! in my area
northern wisc. i have at least three high power energy fields to try and
collect. #1 power lines, hugh three phase line across the road from my
house, how would you resonate to get three phase radiation??? the hum
available from the power line on audio equipment is massive.
#2 project elf at clam lake wi. pumps megawatts into the ground all the
time, 60 miles from here; do low freqs. because wavelength is so long
attenuate less than higher freq?
#3 HARRP another gazzillion watts burning the ether at least these power
source are real and definitly out there ...... I need some of that here
at my solar and nicad house.... brent
