At: 4000 Feet, 2 Gallons per minute (probably more)
Power = 4000 X 2 = 8 kW
Power generation efficiency of 10% gives us 800 Watts from a 150 Watt motor.

Subject: re- maths on falling water.
Hi Folks,
the figures for working out the power generation available from
falling water is quite simple:-
Head (70 ft) X Gallons per minute (2) =140 divide 10 (inefficiencies) =
14 Watts.
I built my own hydro which powers my home so I know this one well.
