Hi Ren!

Yes, I've been meaning to respond to your mentions of the Chauncey
Brittain patent....I too found that quite intriguing...I don't recall
the details and can't readily pull them up as I am at work, but I do
remember the hollow tube that was bent to form this pattern;

____
|
|______

I was thinking it had a copper wire suspended in mica in the center of
the tube and the whole thing was in vacuum...if I am recalling it
correctly, he had an antenna connected to a capacitor connected to
this tube which fed his house power? Is that right?

Would make a great file....

Anyway, he was going to start his own power company because his
devices were so successful. I'd forgotten how intriguing was his claim.

I think we had a discussion about that earlier either on this list or
somewhere else....at that time, I was thinking it had to do with a
vacuum, but I'd have to refer to the original documents.

You see, it appears that a vacuum can be used to extract power as in
several claims, but I know of no one who has been able to verify the
claim in a working device.

Perhaps I can get that article up and online..there is a crude
photocopy or two that I could include...and the patent is available
with a fairly good description of construction.
