Such devices do exist experimentally. but you probably couldn't buy one.
The real question is, what power output does it have to have? If the
power output is very small, then the human body is a good generator.
Frohlich and others have demonstrated that cells and DNA generate
coherent THz waves.
This is also the wavelength range of phonons (lattice oscillations) in
crystals. A short heat pulse in a cooled crystal will generate coherent
phonon or heat waves in this range-- but it will not leave the crystal.
Holding a quartz crystal in your hand should generate a considerable
amount of this frequency range within the crystal, due to the overlap of
the two resonators.
Waves in this range can be generated by special thin film transducers
made of piezoelectric cadmium sulphide, but these are sonic or heat
based again, and not generated by an antenna or waveguide. And all such
components must have very thin cross sections in order to oscillate
properly at these freqs.
Look for books in college libraries on Hypersonic Acoustics for more
information. Quite an interesting and little known area.
