I guess that this discussion has turned more philosophical than =
experimental so here are my thoughts on this also
I believe in the concept of "free will" from our perspective, that is, I =
believe that (we think we are making choices that direct our destiny) =
and that we will experience the effects of our decisions. I further =
believe that we exist within and without of the time space continuum and =
that the part of us that exists outside of the continuum sees time as a =
sort of 2 dimensional map which is spiderwebbed with our potential =
choices and Has designed the map so that all choices lead to the same =
conclusion the choices are up to us to make. Some trails take longer =
and are more interesting some are more direct, and some lead in circles. =
It is up to each of us to learn from the decisions we make. If we do not =
then we do not experience the gains of that learning,and we experience =
the suffering/boredom/injury of our ignorance.=20
We are the "joker" and are watching ourselves learn about ourselves,but =
from our perspective we are all individuals we are free to love/hate be =
kind to /injure each other but we experience what we do to each other =
just as surely as we would if we cut our own arm or embraced. Afterall =
it is only us here. Ultimately we can only make the best choice all =
other paths are well, NOT on the way.
