I am sorry, but this is yet another question relating to vibrating tables
covered in sand.
Just looking through the old posts and started thinking again. When I had
a look at Chladni plate images and the like, they all seem to be
geometrically regular patterns.
How then, I must ask, were the Crab Nebula vibrating sand table images
created seeing that a nebula is not quite a geometrically regular pattern.
Is it due to multiple frequencies, complex algorithms involving the sand
particles bouncing off one another (and the table), or some other situation
that is as simple as 1+1=2?
I'm determined to see this one through.
