Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly *IS* Cerenkov Radiation? Can you
provide any URLs to a decent explanation? (I mean, if it's possible to
create FTL shockwaves in water - then there's probably more going on there
than meets the eye - and hence - is worth exploration.)
