Hi Dave et al!

About the Ford Model T engine report...I wrote that story and posted it
at KeelyNet after being told the story by Timothy Thrapp in a phone call
from Alaska...I understand Tim has now moved to the states, though I
don't know his current location or contact information. He said he had
developed a 50KW power generation technology based on rotating magnetic
fields and coils. I don't recall if he claimed overunity or 'just' very
high efficiency. (An interesting comment has been made by several FE
experimenters with regard to their wording, either CLAIMING O/U or simply
saying, 'highly efficient' so that anything beyond 100% was
gravy...<g>...)

There were several responses to the file, some backed it up, others said
they knew for a fact there were no such slots in the engine.

I keep meaning to visit a group out in Richardson (and a fellow in
Burleson) who are experts and collectors of the Ford Model A through ?
series.

I am hoping they would have knowledge of this aberrant crankcase and
might have one lying around as spare parts....but I don't plan to tell
them the whole story until I could photograph or videotape and measure
the geometric relationships of the crankcase and the slots. They'll
probably just snort at the story anyway (fine with me) as crazy....

Tim swears the story was true....it is possible only a few cars were made
with this arrangement, or for that matter, it could have been a Model A.

But your correlation with the magneto effect as being the restorative
necessary to kick the rotating cam over and back into the repellent
influence of like magnetic poles, is excellent!!!
