Phone Scam

Hi Folks!

This is definitely off topic but I think it needs to be said....I saw a
short news story the other day about some kind of phone company ripoff
where people were accidentally authorizing their long distance service to
be switched....but I only caught the tail end of the news story. Bob
Aldrich posted this to pass along so you don't inadvertently authorize
your LD provider to be switched....there were horror stories about very
high rates per minute with some ripoff services...we're talking a dollar
per minute long distance and IN the US.
