It's my responsibility to comment here. I just spoke to deVree's
partner again tonight, and yes he's dead. He took a whole bottle
of sleeping bills then put a bag over his head a few weeks ago.
His partner will carry on with his research work, but deVree has
gone to the big magnet in the sky.
