I must say here, however, that I raised this very issue with BAP. For the
benefit of the group, BAP stated that the plans were released too early for
his liking, but due to the excitement it was released. The result was that
an error was included, which cost BAP money to notify and correct.
Apparently he received very little money from that venture. And, if my
memory serves me correctly, he said that one group in California had made it
work.
Anyone can ask him about this, and even inquire as to whether he has built
one himself.

Agreed. But the difficulty is that there is no specific framework to
test/pass such devices.
