Well, I have long seen cold fusion going nowhere. The reason? Because
it is basically a novel chemical battery.

The reason the cold fusion cells can't run continuously and at full power
for a long period of time (a year) is because the pure elements
used in them will transmute during the production of heat.

This of course, over time will reduce the efficiency and amount of heat
output by contamination of these pure elements.

Dr. Bockris said it three years ago at his conference in College
Station....he said, 'If I had my choice of which to pursue for the
remainder of my life, I would NOT choose cold fusion, but TRANSMUTATION.
It is so much more interesting and useful in the long run.'

I think even then, he recognized that these cold fusion chemical
batteries, requiring that the elements be replaced periodically, would
have no real future.

Long before that first conference, I had decided not to pursue it, thus
no cold fusion papers on KeelyNet, though there might be a URL or two as
pointers if you want to spend your time on it.

Aether/zpe/space energy is all around us and in very high densities.
That is what I want to spend my life focusing on. One breakthrough and
the world will change in ways we can't now imagine.
