I have no idea what the strength of it is, but I think they're more
concerned with the density. If you have a lot of money to waste, you
can get bismuth shot for hunting waterfowl, since lead is illegal for
that purpose and people don't think steel transfers enough energy.

Yeah, he has some pictures on his web page of someone abusing one of
those transformers. The output looks more like a sheet of fire than an
electrical arc.
