Have you ever head of Joseph Papp (also spelled Papf)? He uses a mixture
of noble gases in a sealed engine. He claims that the gases tend to
repel each other, so when excited, they do so with great energy,
producing an explosive force. So, a mixture of these gases are injected
into the cyclinders, then excited by the high voltage spark...the gases
repel each other, (I guess expanding in the process?), the pistons are
pushed down, the gases are exhausted, heat removed, then the now cooled
gases recombine, ready to be used again....I have a very crude (copy of
copy of a copy ad nauseum) video showing his engine in operation.
Recently a friend in Los Angeles said Papp had now made a low RPM version
that had tremendous torque...he has a patent (which I don't have handy at
the moment but the following URL from the index98.htm page might be
