Re: How about some discussions?

Hi All,

Seems I've seen free energy capture device drawings all over the web. Your
supposed to put a metal plate in the air, a stake in the ground. Then you
collect the small potential difference and store it in a capacitor prior to
feeding it to a battery. Has anyone made one of these? I noticed that
George Wiseman has a book for sale that shows how to build one. Don't know
how much it can collect. I don't recall if the metal plate could be painted
or if it had to be unfinished or clearcoated. I believe that most homes are
well grounded (to give the third prong on plugs something to do). I've also
noticed a lot of buildings being made with metal roofs. Seems like you would
have half the circuit already. I don't know if the paint on the metal roofs
would hinder collection or not. You would definitely have the height and
surface area. I wonder how it compares (powerwise) to Photovoltaics. You
wouldn't have to worry about metal roofs being as fragile (get a lot of hail
in our neck of the woods don't we Jerry) as PV roofs would. Has anyone built
even a simple one to see what it can do?
