Subject: IANS Closes. Hummm... What's Next?

Dear Patrick -

Due to financial and volunteer support, we have decided to close IANS (International Association for New Science).

We are cancelling our October 1998 Conference. All that will remain will be our new mailing address:

If funding or people support appears, we might consider taking IANS out of hibernation. We will offer no more phone or fax service, so those can be eliminated from your info ( http://www.padrak.com/~ine )

Because we still have a proceedings inventory (conference proceedings, video and audio tapes), we will still process a limited amount of orders, at least for awhile. All tape orders can be directed to BackCountry Productions at 303.772.8358 or FAX at 303.678.7911.

(Regarding their webpage on the INE website:)

Please eliminate the paragraph about members.

Please eliminate anything indicating conference discounts.

Please eliminate membership applications.

It saddens all of us that IANS must fold. It hurts to think that the planet will not support our efforts at this time.

Perhaps transition will lay the ground work for a newer, greater organization that is based on impeccable principles and higher consciousness.
